1. Applies to both Internal/attached and detached ADUs
2. An application for an ADU shall be provided by Duchesne City, filled out by the applicant, and submitted to Duchesne City. An application is required.
3. The ADU shall conform to all applicable standards i.e., building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire, health, and any other applicable federal, state, or local codes; as well as all of Duchesne City’s residential setback requirements.
4. An ADU building permit shall be required for any construction or placement of any ADU.
5. Any permitted ADU shall be billed at the second-tier water rate per month, plus the equivalent of one more trash can for each occupied ADU. (Ord. 24-3, 6-25-2024)
