Pool Programs
Whether you are visiting for open swim or helping a child become more confident in the water, pool programs offer options for different ages and abilities.
Open Swim
Children, families, and friends are welcome during scheduled open-swim hours. Lifeguards are on duty, but parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children and following pool rules.
Swimming Lessons
Summer offerings may include parent and child classes, preschool classes, Learn-to-Swim Levels 1–6, beginner through advanced levels, private lessons, and junior lifeguard opportunities when available.
Lesson Schedule
Lessons have traditionally been offered in two-week sessions, Monday through Thursday. Morning classes have begun at approximately 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m., with each lesson lasting about 45 minutes. Confirm current dates, levels, prices, and registration procedures before enrolling.
Pool Passes
A 20-admission open-swim pass was previously available for purchase at the pool. Ask pool staff to confirm current availability and pricing before purchasing.
Private Reservations
Plan a Pool Party or Group Event
Private pool reservations may be available for birthdays, family reunions, youth activities, team parties, and other gatherings. Rentals have traditionally been offered Monday through Saturday during evening hours, typically between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. Other times may depend on the pool schedule. The current rental rate is $125; confirm availability and details with pool staff.
- Reservations are generally scheduled in one-hour increments.
- Groups with fewer than 50 people should reserve at least 48 hours in advance.
- Groups of 50 people or more should reserve at least seven days in advance.
- Discuss special requests directly with pool staff.
- A reservation is not confirmed until approved by the pool.
Safety First
Pool Rules and Unexpected Closures
Follow all posted rules and lifeguard instructions. The pool may close or delay opening because of lightning, high winds, poor air quality, severe weather, maintenance, mechanical issues, contamination, water-quality concerns, or other unsafe conditions. Check the pool’s Facebook page for the latest announcements.
- Children must be properly supervised by a responsible adult.
- Walk on the pool deck; do not run, push, fight, or engage in rough play.
- Dive only in designated areas and follow lifeguard instructions immediately.
- Glass containers are not allowed, and food and drinks must remain in designated areas.
- Proper swimming attire is required. Children who are not toilet trained must wear an approved swim diaper.
- Do not enter the water if you are experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, illness, or an open wound.
- Pool toys and flotation devices may be restricted by pool staff.
- Anyone who repeatedly disregards safety rules may be asked to leave.
