When a sewer line extension is needed for city residents, the following regulations shall apply:
1. Cost Paid By Applicant; Contracts: The applicant requesting the sewer line extension will pay the actual cost of the extension based upon a cost per linear foot. In the event a new applicant utilizes a portion of a line paid for by another applicant, a pro rata contract will be made and a portion will be returned to the original applicant. Costs for additional applicants will be per linear foot and at the actual costs at the time of construction for each additional applicant. Applicants and the city will make contracts. No pro rata adjustment will be made after ten (10) years have elapsed from the date of construction by the original applicant.
2. Specifications; Inspections: Any and all lines will be constructed as per city regulations and specifications, and inspected by the city.
3. Applicability To Other Provisions: The extension policy does not alter or affect the subdivision sewer ordinance and does not affect the regular sewer hookup fee. (Res. 2002-2-12, 2-12-2002)
