Hello Duchesne City Team,
You are receiving this demonstration because you are currently subscribed as an administrator. This newsletter shows how Duchesne City can communicate important information directly to residents through a clear, professional email.
Future newsletters could include city announcements, meeting reminders, recreation registration dates, road or utility updates, community events, employment opportunities, public notices, and links to useful city resources.
This demonstration is not intended for the general public. It is an opportunity for city administrators to preview the newsletter format and consider how it could be used before subscriber promotion begins.
City News and Announcements
New Duchesne City Website and Civic Information System
Duchesne City’s updated website provides residents with one convenient place to find city services, forms, announcements, recreation information, public notices, meeting information, and community resources.
The website can be updated by authorized city staff through the Northpoint Civic administration area. Newsletter articles can direct residents back to the website for complete information, downloadable forms, registration pages, or official notices.

Keep Your Contact Information Current
Residents should be encouraged to subscribe using an email address they regularly check. The newsletter can complement emergency or time-sensitive alert systems, but it should not replace official emergency notifications.
Newsletters are especially useful for scheduled information, community reminders, program announcements, and summaries of what is happening around Duchesne.
Ways the Newsletter Can Serve Residents
Each issue could contain a combination of:
- City announcements and administrative updates
- Upcoming meetings and public hearings
- Recreation registrations and schedules
- Pool information and seasonal hours
- Road work, water, and utility notices
- City employment opportunities
- Community events and volunteer opportunities
- Business licensing or permit reminders
- Links to forms, applications, and online payments
- Highlights from city departments and committees
A regular newsletter could be sent monthly, while special editions could be used for major announcements or seasonal programs.
Administrator Review Requested
Please review this demonstration and consider:
- Which departments should be able to submit newsletter content?
- How frequently should a city newsletter be sent?
- Should there be one general newsletter or separate recreation and city-news editions?
- Who should review each newsletter before it is published?
- Which types of announcements should remain website-only?
- When should subscribers begin seeing a public signup form?
